چکیده
The behavior of a generalized random environment integer-valued autoregressive model higher order with geometric marginal distribution and negative binomial thinning operator is dictated by realization {zn}?,n=1 an auxiliary Markov chain called process. Element zn represents state the in moment n ? N determines all parameters that moment. In to apply model, one first needs estimate {zn}?,n=1, which was so far done K-means data clustering. We argue this approach ignores some information performs poorly certain situations. propose new method for estimating includes transformation preceding clustering, reduce loss. To confirm its efficiency, we compare usual when applied on simulated real-life data, notice benefits obtained from our method.

Higher order models for fuzzy random variables
A fuzzy random variable is viewed as the imprecise observation of the outcomes in a random experiment. Since randomness and vagueness coexist in the same framework, it seems reasonable to integrate fuzzy random variables into imprecise probabilities theory. Nevertheless, fuzzy random variables are commonly presented in the literature as classical measurable functions associated to a classical p...

My main research interest is in theoretical and applied probability mainly focusing on discrete problems arising out of combinatorics, statistical physics and computer science. In particular I am interested in random graphs, probability on tress, combinatorial optimization and statistical physics problems, recursive distributional equations, branching random walks, percolation theory, interacti...
متن کاملParameter Estimation in Spatial Generalized Linear Mixed Models with Skew Gaussian Random Effects using Laplace Approximation
Spatial generalized linear mixed models are used commonly for modelling non-Gaussian discrete spatial responses. We present an algorithm for parameter estimation of the models using Laplace approximation of likelihood function. In these models, the spatial correlation structure of data is carried out by random effects or latent variables. In most spatial analysis, it is assumed that rando...
متن کاملRandom environment on coloured trees
In this paper we study a regular rooted coloured tree with random labels assigned to its edges, where the distribution of the label assigned to an edge depends on the colours of its endpoints. We obtain some new results relevant to this model and also show how our model generalizes many other probabilistic models, including random walk in random environment on trees, recursive distributional eq...
